  • Dear PE PhD Network coordinators, the 13th MedChem 2024 Meeting organised by Sapienza University of Rome will be held from 17 to 19 June 2024 at the Department of Chemistry and Technologies of Drugs by Local Coordinator Daniela Secci. All information on how to participate and the website where registration and submission of contributions can be finalised will be available shortly. We look forward to seeing you in Rome.

  • PE Awards candidatures
    Applications for the PE MedChem Euro-PhD Label (to be awarded at the Barcelona meeting) should be submitted by June 15, 2022. Eligibility criteria and the submission procedures can be found here.
  • Decisions of Board meeting of February 21th, 2022
    Normally the Board should have been renewed at the beginning of this year. Because of the unusual situation we have been facing, it is decided to retain the composition of the Board until we physically gather with all local coordinators in July in Barcelona.
    Two new members will join the Network, i.e.
    1. Institut de Chimie de Nice (ICN), France; local coordinator: Cyril Ronco
    2. Ankara University, Turkey; local coordinator: Ilkay Yildiz

  • The first Paul Ehrlich MedChem Euro-PhD certificate was awarded in 2012 at the Network meeting in Ljubljana. Since then, 38 certificates were awarded to superb doctoral students who obtained their national PhD degree in medicinal chemistry.

    16 July 2021 - #PEVM2021 information for participants The PEVM21 Scientific Programme has been completed!
    You all are kindly invited to view and download it at the conference webpage.
  • The first activity of the meeting will start with the Virtual Poster Session on Twitter next Monday 19th to next Saturday 24th. The three most voted posters will be selected for a Flash Poster Communication of 3 min on July 28th, while three other posters will be selected by the Scientific Committee.
  • PENP speakers will open each meeting day, followed by the PE Awarded sessions scheduled on July 26th and 27th, dedicated to the PE Award winners.
  • Two Special Events are scheduled: the "Editor's Corner: a Q&A session on best practices in publishing" on Tuesday 27th and the Social Event "PE Alumni meet again" on Wednesday 28th.
  • During the PEVM2021, one PEEPA will be selected for a free registration and talk for the SCT Young Research Fellows Meeting (YRFM, February, 2022 - Nantes, France).
  • The participants will receive the zoom link in the next few days.
